The Hawaiian green turtle
The Hawaiian green turtle has made an adaptation to its behavior. Similar to humans, the turtles find isolated warm beaches to sunbathe. There are several hypotheses for why they do this: to regulate their temperature, to rest and possibly for protection from tiger sharks.
